Embracing Sustainability: Our Commitment to a Greener Future

At our core, we are dedicated to reducing the environmental impact of our products throughout their entire life cycle. From researching innovative raw materials and production processes to guaranteeing the health and safety of all our garment workers, from efficient logistics, to eliminating unnecessary hangtag plastics and packaging, sustainability is woven into every aspect of our brand.

Higg Index

We are proud to work with the Higg Index, a suite of tools that measures our environmental and social impact. This allows us to continuously improve and make informed decisions that prioritize sustainability.

Designs

Our multi-functional styles are designed to be timeless, transcending seasons and trends. We carefully curate colors and silhouettes that stand the test of time, promoting longevity and reducing waste. From reversibility to 4-way and 6-way styles.

Circularity

We believe in extending the life of our products by repurposing them through partnerships with non-profit organizations. This circular approach gives pieces a second life, reducing waste and promoting a more sustainable future.

Collaborations

Empowering women is at the heart of our brand. We collaborate with like-minded brands to design collections that celebrate and uplift the female spirit.

Packaging

Our packaging is designed to be reusable and ultimately recyclable at the end of its life cycle. We prioritize sustainable materials and minimize waste, ensuring our packaging is as eco-friendly as our products.

Shipping

Reducing shipping-related emissions is an industry-wide challenge, and we are committed to doing our part. We offer options like pick-up at our office or delivery to drop-off points, minimizing the distances traveled by our online orders.

Branding

Simplicity is our mantra. We are a brand-less company that believes in promoting minimalism in design. All logos, branding, and care instructions can be found online, reducing unnecessary waste and clutter.

Suppliers

We work closely with suppliers who respect and promote human rights and worker empowerment. Our production areas are designed to create a safe and ethical environment for all involved. If rent is increased, we are happy to pay more to produce products.

Traceability

Transparency is key. We know exactly where and how all our garments are being handled, ensuring that employee working conditions, product safety levels, and environmental production standards are met throughout our supply chain. We are rare in that we develop our own fabric straight from the fibers and threads.

Social Good

We collaborate with social projects to support and uplift our community, fostering a more sustainable and equitable future for all. From beach cleanups, to give-back, we're always doing out part to serve our community.

Milestones

Our sustainability journey is ever-evolving, and we are proud of the milestones we've achieved:
  • 2017: Removed all branding excess, sourced local fabrics and domestic manufacturers (originally Italy), developed luxuriously soft textiles from post-manufactured nylon fibers, and designed timeless, reversible pieces. All in the USA!
  • 2018: Developed hang tags using scrap fabric. Every brand needs to be doing this, there is no reason for excess paper waste. We need to be accountable for using all of the fabric we produce.
  • 2019: Manufactured fabric, cut, and sewed within a 10-mile radius. Moved my production from Los Angeles to the Bay Area. No more flights, lower emissions!
  • 2020: Printed locally, continued reversible designs, and used recycled PET fabrics and post-manufacture nylon fibers.
  • 2021: Developed fabric from hundreds of recycled water bottles, and pivoted from buying all new to sourcing deadstock fabrics.
  • 2022: Repurposed all 'new' fabrics, up-cycled the cutest hair ties from fabric 'waste' that would have been discarded after the main design was cut.
  • 2023: Repurposed Marine Layer fabrics for a project, using all up-cycled zippers and size labels.
  • 2024: Launched zero-waste kids designs and a new website to show our updated values.
  • As seen in: Brides, Conde Nast, Travelers, Vogue, etc:
